Weekend Looks

This weekend I had the chance to meet up with my friend Whitney for a mini collaboration on Fall fashion. Whitney is a 20-something mom of a feisty little girl and a pro stylist. She has her own shop online, The Vintique Shop, where she sells one of a kind vintage clothing.

Fall is my favorite season for fashion, that’s for sure. We both styled different weekend looks with pieces from our own closets.

Whitney put an edgy twist on a classic, fitted white button down and distressed black skinny jeans. Adding a leather jacket, a funky necklace and printed pumps took her look from every-day to weekend.

In contrast to Whitney, I decided to go with a cozy dressed-up weekend look. I created this by mixing a girly floral skirt with a waffle knit sweater and a chunky scarf. The tights and booties tied the look together – and so did this awesome Fall hat. This is stylish but practical. I could take the outfit from brunch, to the mall, to drinks with friends.

How do you style Fall fashion?

That’s what’s in my jar.
